SELF HEALS
Internal Family Systems for individuals and couples with Mona Zeidan
Everyone has a seat of conciousness at their core, which we call the Self. From birth this Self has all the necessary qualities of good leadership, including compassion, perspective, curiosity, acceptance and confidence.
Self remains whole.

INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS
IFS is designed to help us find, understand and release the constraints which prevent us from accessing our inner resources, our indestructible and undamaged Self. We believe the Self is the essence of who we are, behind all the trauma and emotional injuries which we’ve experienced in life or inherited from our families or communities. As well as Self, your unique internal world is made up of parts, each with its own range of emotion, style of expression, abilities, desires and view of the world. We seek to communicate with these parts so as to understand their beliefs and why they behave or feel the way they do. Ultimately we want to befriend our parts and free them from their burdens.
WHAT I DO…
My role is to gently help you better understand your internal world and access more of your true core Self through the IFS process. Together, between your Self energy and mine, we’ll create space for more safety, curiosity and compassion to encourage better connection with your parts, to understand, befriend them and to facilitate the release of burdens – all at a pace which feels right for your system.
With couples I’m here to listen, observe and support you to identify your own and your partner’s fears and hopes in the relationship. I Also want to show you how to have a different kind of conversation about the issues which matter the most to you, so that you can better understand how and why you respond or react to each other the way you do. Together we build a safe container for your vulnerability, transparency, relational learning and growth in a way which helps you both ground and feel more connected.
